Being Tired of Crying

A Poetic Reflection

There comes a time when the tears have carved rivers too deep,

When the sorrow has lingered like shadows that refuse to sleep.

Being tired of crying is not just exhaustion of the soul,

It’s yearning for a silence where shattered hearts might be whole.

Each tear, a story untold, a fragment of pain,

Falling like whispers in the quietest rain.

But what happens when the well runs dry?

When even the ache has no more tears to supply?

It’s not surrender, but a pause, a plea—

For moments of peace, for the chance to just be.

To lift heavy eyes, now worn and red,

And find a fragment of light in the darkness ahead.

Being tired of crying is the body’s lament,

A silent protest, of emotions long spent.

But like all storms, this too shall fade,

And the weary heart will find its shade.

So rest in that silence, let the tears subside,

Seek solace in stillness, let the pain divide.

For being tired of crying is a step to repair,

A whisper that healing may soon be there.
