We, as a people, have always had to fight harder. With one full sweep of a pen, it seems history has been erased. And maybe to some, it has, but to us as a people, NEVER!

So many of the things we come from were built on the backs and blood of those who sacrificed for us, for me. I remember the marches and the protests. I remember the tear-stained faces of my teachers when the world learned about the assassinations of those who fought for us. Where did the pride go? Why is history repeating itself? Did we not learn anything from the brutality of days gone by?

Our history is rich with stories of resilience, strength, and the unyielding spirit of our ancestors.
