Peace is a beautiful place to be. Having that peace disturbed can upset your mental health. Peace comes when we let go of situations and circumstances we have no control over. Peace comes when we are comfortable being uncomfortable so that we can work on the places in our mind that we often ignore. Peace comes when we forgive and let go of hurts. We all will be hurt in this life. We all have things and people in our live that can push us past our breaking point. But we have to let things go and not hold on and seek revenge. Vengeance is mine says the Lord. God already knows what you are going through. He already knows how the end is going to manifest, so we don’t have to seek anything. We have to learn to be still and reflect. Look inside ourselves and do our work for ourselves. I understand that things are not fair and people that hurt us seem to be living their best life. Not so! People never get away with things, their karma is just delayed. Instead of spending precious time worrying and being angry at people, we can take that time to work on us. Learn from the errors we made. Discipline ourselves to learn from the errors.

In this time of reflection we will become aware of who we are and we will learn to love ourselves and never apologize for our flaws. Peace is a beautiful place to be, Having peace of mind clears our thoughts. It allows us to know our own worth. Understanding our own worth. And empowering ourselves to life our best life even with our idiosyncrasies.

In my life I had to learn forgiveness. Forgiveness allowed me to grow and be free. I thought that wanting revenge would make me feel better or be better but it did nothing. But letting go and sincerely giving it over to my God gave me the real freedom I yearned for.

Remember that no matter what circle you travel in someone may betray you. Remember some people have motives and are not authentic. We have to walk in discernment and in love no matter what this world shows us. In doing, our peace is not disturbed. Remember hurt people, hurt people but it is not our job to chastise them. But it is our job to pray for them and given them over to the God of our understanding. Peace is a beautiful place, being at peace is even better. Understand your worth and peace will come.
